Robert Thomas Noll

ROBERT THOMAS NOLL has won over 34 national and international awards including a Silver Medal at the International Film and Television Festival of New York, a Golden Eagle Award from CINE (Council of International Non-Theatrical Events), a National Education Association National Award, a national Telly Award and nine regional Emmy Awards.
 
His 37 produced plays have been performed hundreds of times throughout the United States (seven off-off Broadway) and in 11 countries. Fifteen have been published with one translated into Dutch and another into Hindi. During his years working at NBC, he wrote and produced many types of programs including the nationally syndicated NBC children’s series, “Hickory Hideout.”
 
Noll teaches scriptwriting in the Tim Russert Department of Communication and Theatre Department at John Carroll University. He is also adviser to the university’s JCTV. He also spent nearly 20 years teaching playwriting at the Cleveland Play House.
 
He has been a Public Relations and Marketing Consultant for 35 Broadway shows. He has written and edited publications for the Education Department of Playhouse Square Center in Cleveland and Radio City Music Hall. He is an active member of the Dramatist Guild, Society of Professional Journals and Broadcast Education Association. He has degrees from Kent State University and Ohio University.
