| | Andrew Martineau has had several Equity productions of his work by Love Creek Productions in New York City, including Etched in Stone, Jackie Kennedy and Beethoven, and Functions (Heuer Publishing, 2001). His play For the Time Being was produced by Enlightenment Productions in D.C. in 1999 and had a reading at Signature Theatre in 1998. He won the award for "Best New Script" for Etched in Stone at the NVTA One Act Play Festival in 1993. Directing credits include Action, The Dumb Waiter, F.M., and The Hobbit, and writing/directing credits include The Dotted Line (the true story of Louis Braille), Spin Cycle and The Snow Angel. He has acting credits at Lazy Susan Dinner Theatre, Little Theatre of Alexandria, and Port City Playhouse. Andrew had a supporting role in a sci-fi movie entitled, Twilight of the Dogs. He has a BFA in theatre education from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MA in English from George Mason. Andrew is the founder and Artistic Director of Sundial Theatre Company in Washington, DC, and he teaches English at Gibbs College in Vienna, VA. | |
